The worst part is that, at the end of the day, we don’t always have enough time or energy required for a healthy lifestyle. When our work day is complete, most people do not want to go to the gym. We want a tasty, greasy burger, not an equally delightful salad (unless we’re vegetarians). You will be happy to discover that achieving good health doesn’t have to be hard. With training you can get all of the nutritional requirements and the exercise that you need. Here are some hints to be as healthful as possible.

Take the stairs. Rather than riding an elevator, take the stairs to the floor you live or work on. This isn’t as easy to do if you work on a very high floor but if you work on a lower floor, using the stairs is a excellent way to get some extra exercise. If you do work on a extremely high floor, why not get off the elevator a couple of floors early and walk the rest of the way? Lots of people opt for the easy elevator ride instead of making an efforts on the stairs. That just one flight of stairs—when taken a several times a day—can be just the additional boost that your system needs.

There are plenty of things you can go after to become healthy. An expensive gym membership and very restrictive diets are not the only way to do it. Little things, when done every day, can do a great deal to help you get healthy and lose pounds. Being smart about the selections you make each day is a start. Getting as much exercise as you possibly can is another factor. Remember: being healthy and balanced isn’t just about reducing your weight. It is more about making your body as sturdy as it can be.

  3. Provide 1 pound of fresh chicken livers, trimmed of fat and connective tissue.

  6. Use 1 teaspoon of kosher salt to start.
  7. Take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.

Instructions to make Chicken Liver Pâté:

  1. Put a large, heavy sauté pan over medium heat, and melt 4 tablespoons of the butter until it begins to foam. Add the shallots, and sweat them for 4 to 5 minutes….
  2. Just until they're all translucent. You don't want them to brown. Then add thyme, stir it in, and let it bloom in the hot butter for a minute or so..
  3. Add vermouth, turn heat to high, and let it reduce by about half..
  4. Then add chicken livers and gently toss them in the sauce..
  5. Add salt and pepper, then let livers cook, occasionally gently stirring and folding to make sure all sides get cooked, just until the livers are lightly browned on the outside, but still tender and pink on the inside..
  6. Let livers cool for 15 minutes or so before putting them in a food processor or blender (along with all of the sauce) and puree until smooth..
  7. Add remainder of the butter (8 Tablespoons) and blend again until completely smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed and blend a few more seconds..
  8. Transfer the pâté into a lidded container, give the bottom a few gentle taps on the counter to pack it, then cover entire surface with plastic wrap or wax paper, put lid on container, and refrigerate until firm. (At least two hours.) The pâté should keep at least 5 to 7 days well refrigerated..
  9. Serve with baguette, toast, or crackers, and enjoy! :).
