  1. Use 2 piece of Apples.
  2. Prepare 1 cup of Milk.
  3. Use 3-4 tbsp of Sugar (less than 1/2 cup).
  4. Prepare 2-3 tbsp of Khoya/mava.
  5. Take 2-3 tbsp of Clarified butter/desi ghee.
  6. Take as needed of Dry fruits of your choice.

  1. First wash and peel the apple., cut in big chunks and put in lemon water (squeeze lemon in a glass of water) immediately.
  2. Take out of lemon water and blend in a mixture blender to smooth pulp.
  3. Cut almonds and cashews in half..crush a few almonds for sprinkling and keep aside.
  4. Take a non stick pan and pour clarified butter/ ghee and add apple pulp and milk.. Cook it for a while at medium to low heat while stirring.. Add sugar, mava /khoya and cook till all the moisture evaporated and halwa start releasing oil..add half of the dry fruits and give a good mix(keep half for garnishing).
  5. Your apple halwa is done.. Dish it out in a cut serving bowl and garnish with dry fruits and rose petals.
  6. Serve instantly.
