The ingredients needed to cook #Apple Halwa:
- Use 2 piece of Apples.
- Prepare 1 cup of Milk.
- Use 3-4 tbsp of Sugar (less than 1/2 cup).
- Prepare 2-3 tbsp of Khoya/mava.
- Take 2-3 tbsp of Clarified butter/desi ghee.
- Take as needed of Dry fruits of your choice.
- Use as needed of Rose petals for garnishing.
Instructions to make #Apple Halwa:
- First wash and peel the apple., cut in big chunks and put in lemon water (squeeze lemon in a glass of water) immediately.
- Take out of lemon water and blend in a mixture blender to smooth pulp.
- Cut almonds and cashews in half..crush a few almonds for sprinkling and keep aside.
- Take a non stick pan and pour clarified butter/ ghee and add apple pulp and milk.. Cook it for a while at medium to low heat while stirring.. Add sugar, mava /khoya and cook till all the moisture evaporated and halwa start releasing oil..add half of the dry fruits and give a good mix(keep half for garnishing).
- Your apple halwa is done.. Dish it out in a cut serving bowl and garnish with dry fruits and rose petals.
- Serve instantly.
